Abstract

Purpose:To compare the visual performance of myopic presbyopia with low addition after wearing center-near and center-distance simultaneous vision multifocal contact lenses
Methods:Visual performance of 13 subjects (46.92¡¾5.91 years) wasevaluatedfor accommodative lag, stray light, stereoacuity, horizontal phoria, near vergence and subjective vision satisfaction after wearing center-near and center-distance simultaneous vision multifocal contact lenses, respectively.
Results:There were no significant differences in accommodative lag, stray light, stereoscopic acuity, horizontal phoria, near vergence and subjective vision satisfaction between center-near and center-distance simultaneous vision multifocal contact lenses with low addition in myopic presbyopes.
Conclusion:There were no significant differences in visual performance related to visual quality, accommodative and vergence response after wearing center-near and center-distance simultaneous vision multifocal contact lenses with low addition in myopic presbyopes. Therefore, it is thought that it can be useful as a reference when selecting multifocal contact lenses.
